The ones who deserve punishment are the ones who attacked her, molested her, made her life miserable. She should not be punished for defending herself. She ishould also have been protected as a minor and all mitigating circumstances taken into account at the time of sentencing.

I was watching T.V. today & in a family show they been trying through DNA test find out if the baby belongs to the married couple or someone who was with the woman while the couple were separated , the showman asked the husband that if test results prove that the baby is not yours what would you do ? the husband said I will keep the baby ! , of course its not easy for my culture to take it . In Pennsylvania an Amish man kills 5 young girls in a school shooting , the people in that town are now collecting money to help the family of the murderer ! , they say Jesus forgiveness , I work all day and late @ night I follow most of the Iran's so called accidents , I read about her life story and the rest of her hardship life . I am living in a country that like most western countries no mater under what circumstance a problem involes a man & woman the court in very most cases takes the woman's side, I believe in all of Islamic laws & rules such as a woman can not be a good judge because they get emotional more than average men . Most of the accidents I read I judge them fair , without taking any sides , Just like the woman which was abused by a neighbor & she was scared of loosing her family she did not  tell her husband  until the neighbor got too aggressive & then they decided to kill him by rope , the couple have done something wrong but if it was YOU & nobody would help to save you , I am sure you would do something close to that , please wake up & imagine if these happens to your own family , your wife , your mother , your sister , how would you judge the case .
